A delightful Antique Edwardian curb bracelet made up of solid 9ct Yellow Gold links and held securely by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp which is complete with a small key.
Heart padlocks and keys were a popular motif in the Edwardian era and were often gifted as a romantic token that symbolised that the recipient had full possession and access to the givers heart.
The piece is extremely well made and of a very high quality. It’s complete with hallmarks which date it to 1903 and the makers mark of ‘Lewis Brothers’ of Birmingham.
